The Nova Scotia Centre on Aging is hosting the upcoming conference "Our Future is Aging: Current Research on Knowledge, Practice and Policy." in Halifax June 16-17, 2016. We are currently accepting abstracts from researchers, decision makers, students, and practitioners who may be doing relevant work in the field of aging.
The Nova Scotia Centre on Aging, Mount Saint Vincent University is pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for the upcoming conference "Our Future is Aging: Current Research on Knowledge, Practice and Policy" to be held on June 16-17, 2016, at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The conference will bring together researchers, academics, practitioners, decision makers, policy analysts, emerging scholars, students, and members of the community to share the diversity of perspectives and approaches to research on aging within the Atlantic region and throughout Canada. Abstracts for oral and poster presentations and workshops are welcome from diverse disciplines (physical science, social science, arts and humanities).
We are especially interested in proposals which:
- Share latest advances in aging research and evidence that may shape program and policy development;
- Showcase inter-and-multi-disciplinary and community-based research collaborations;
- Foster research collaborations.
Our Centre, in collaboration with a planning group of researchers and representatives from practice and policy from throughout the region, are working to offer a valuable conference experience for you and we hope you will consider submitting an abstract. Deadline for submissions is November 13, 2015. Abstracts will undergo a scientific review process.
