The Nominating Committee, chaired by Dr. Mark Rapoport, is calling for nominations for the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry Board of Directors. The election of two Quebec members and a MIT member) will take place at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 25, 2019 in Banff, Alberta where all elected candidates will begin their two year term.

Board meetings
The Board meets at least once per year in person at the Annual Scientific Meeting and at regular intervals throughout the year (approx. 11 times) via teleconference.
Nomination requirements
Quebec Representatives: In order to ensure regional representation on the 2019–2021 Board of Directors, nominations must be received from Quebec and are members who can represent the interests of geriatric psychiatrists and members-in-training in their region.
Each nomination shall be accompanied by the signatures of three (3) Academy members in good standing (specifically for Quebec representatives, these members must be from the Quebec region).
